The company was established in 1993 under the name POS Perakende Otomasyon Sistemleri Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. through a partnership between IBM Türkiye and Aytaş A.Ş.
Following Toshiba TEC’s acquisition of IBM’s Retail Store Solutions business in 2012, the Türkiye operation became part of Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions.
The company now continues its operations under the name Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Turkey Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi, combining global Toshiba technology with more than 30 years of local retail industry experience.
